Begin sightseeing in Varanasi with its ancient lanes, important temples and riverside ghats. In the evening, proceed to the Ganga ghats to witness the famous Ganga Aarti, an atmospheric ceremony of lamps, music and devotional rituals. Depending on timing, a short boat experience on the Ganga can also be planned to appreciate the illuminated ghats from the river.
Varanasi Heritage & Spiritual Experience
Continue exploring the old city and its important temples and ghats. Spend time around the riverfront and, if desired, take a short boat ride to see the ghats from the Ganga. The evening can be devoted to another peaceful riverside experience or local market exploration.
